The WPA 9-Ball World Championship for Juniors 2017 was the 26th edition of the Junior World Championship in the 9-Ball pool discipline . It took place from October 30th to November 2nd 2017 in the Russian capital Moscow .
For the first time since the under-17 competition was launched, all three competitions were won by Europeans. The U19 world champion was the Russian Fjodor Gorst , who defeated the Mongols Enkhbold Temuujin 11: 3 in the final. In the U17 junior division, the Bosnian Sanjin Pehlivanović prevailed 9-1 in the final against Robbie Capito . The Russian Kristina Tkatsch won the competition of the juniors in the final against the South Korean Lee Woo-jin 9: 6. Defending champion Chen Chia-hua took third place. A total of 68 players from 22 countries took part. The People's Republic of China, which had two world champions last year with Zheng Xiaohuai (U17) and Kong Dejing (U19), was not represented this year.
