WPA 9-Ball World Junior Championship 2016

The WPA 9-Ball World Championship for Juniors in 2016 was the 25th edition of the Junior World Championship in the 9-ball pool discipline . It took place from November 16 to 20, 2016 at Huimin Middle School in Shanghai ( China ).

The Chinese Zheng Xiaohuai became the U17 world champion with an 8: 5 final win against the Mongolian Enkhbold Temuujin . In the U19 age group, the U17 world champions from 2014 , Kong Dejing , and 2015 , Daniel Macioł , met in the final. The Chinese could clearly prevail with 11: 2. The German Patrick Hofmann was eliminated in the semifinals against Kong. In the junior women category, the Taiwanese Chen Chia-hua secured the title 9: 8 in a hard-fought final against her compatriot Tsai Pei-chun .
