Group stage

The 64 participating players are divided into eight groups of eight players each. Each player plays once against each player in his group. Whoever reaches 100 points first, wins the game. The four best placed then advance to the next round.

Knockout phase

After the group phase, 32 players remain in the tournament, who now compete against each other in a double knockout system . The game length is increased from 100 to 150. If there are only 16 players left in the tournament, the game length is increased to 200 and the double knockout mode is converted into a single knockout mode (ie every loss means the tournament is out).
