World Pool League

The World Pool League was one of Matchroom Sport and the WPA ( World Pool-Billiard Association aligned) 9-Ball - Pool Tournament . It was held annually between 1998 and 2006 and always took place in Warsaw, Poland.

It was an invitation tournament in which six of the best pool players initially competed in the everyone against everyone mode . The four best qualified for the semi-finals, from where the knockout system continued. At the 2006 tournament, the winner Dennis Orcollo received $ 20,000 in prize money.
