WPA 9-Ball Junior World Championship

The WPA-9-Ball World Championship for Juniors has been a pool tournament that has been held since 1992 to determine the junior world champions in pool. It is played in the 9-ball discipline . After initially only the title of the ages has been played the U19 junior, came in 2004 added the competition of the juniors since 2014 also the title of the Under-17 Junior discharged.

The most successful player in the Junior World Championship is Taiwanese Wu Yu-lun , who was U19 World Champion in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Brian Naithani became world champion in 2001 and vice world champion in 2000, making him the most successful German; Christian Götemann (1997) and Moritz Neuhausen (U17: 2019) also became world champions and Tobias Bongers were vice world champions in 2012. In 2000 the Swiss Dimitri Jungo became world champion.

With two world titles each, the American Mary Ann Rakin , the Canadian Brittany Bryant and the Taiwanese Chen Chia-hua are the most successful players in the Junior World Cup. The Austrian Jasmin Ouschan , the Polish Oliwia Czupryńska and the Belgian Kamila Khodjaeva were each once world champion and once second.
