WPA Pool Team World Championship 2014
The WPA pool team world championship 2014 ( English : World Team Championship 2014 ; short: WTC 2014 ) took place from July 27th to August 2nd, 2014 in Beijing , China . It was the third edition of the world championship for pool teams organized by the World Pool Billiards Association . The defending champion was the team from Taiwan , which was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the Philippine team. World champions became the second Chinese team to beat the Philippines 4-2 in the final. The German team lost to Japan in the quarter-finals, Austria was eliminated in the round of 16 against Taiwan.
