Uladzislau Aljaksandrawitsch Schopik ( Belarusian Уладзіслаў Аляксандравіч Шопик , Russian Владислав Александрович Шопик Vladislav Alexandrovich Schopik , English transcription: Uladzislau Shopik even Vladislav Shopik28. August 2001 ) is a Belarusian Pool player from Minsk . In 2016 he became the Belarusian champion in the disciplines 9-ball and 14/1 endless .

In 2012 Uladsislau Schopik took part in the Belarusian championship for the first time, but remained without a win. In early 2013 he won a tournament in the national youth tournament series for the first time. At the Belarusian championship in 2013 he reached the round of 16 in all four disciplines ( 8-ball , 9-ball , 10-ball and 14/1 endless ). In 2014 he reached the quarter-finals endlessly in 14/1 and 8-ball. In May 2015, he became the Belarusian runner-up in the U18 junior 9-ball championship after losing the final 3: 6 to Uladsislau Les . In June he achieved his first tournament victory in the national cup series. A little later he took part in the European Schoolchildren's Championship for the first time and reached the round of 32 in three competitions. In the 2015 national championship , he reached the quarter-finals in the 10-ball.

In May 2016, Schopik became Belarusian U16 champions in 9-ball with a 5-0 final win against Artur Tschaikouski . At the 2016 European Schools Championship he reached the last sixteen in 10-ball and the quarter-finals in 9-ball. Following the European Championship, he took part in a Euro Tour tournament for the first time , the Albanian Open , and finished in 65th place. In November 2016 he moved into the round of 32 at the Kremlin Cup , in which he was only slightly defeated 6: 8 to the multiple world champion Mika Immonen . A month later he won his first medals at the Belarusian championship : After being eliminated in the quarterfinals in 8-ball, he won his first title in 9-ball with a 7-4 win against Uladsislau Zyrykau . At 15 years and 3 months he was the youngest Belarusian champion in pool billiards. He then lost the 10-ball final against Marharyta Fjafilawa 5: 6 and defeated Uladsislau Zyrykau 75:42 in the final of the 14/1 endless competition.

In May 2017 Schopik became national runner-up for the U18 juniors in 9-ball. In August he won his first medal at the European Schools Championship . After he was eliminated in the first three competitions in the round of 16, he moved into the semifinals in 9-Ball, in which he was defeated 4-7 by the eventual European champion Sanjin Pehlivanović . He then reached 65th place again at the Dutch Open , his second Euro Tour participation. In September 2017, Schopik reached the final of the Belarusian championship in 14/1 endlessly, in which he had to admit defeat to the record champions Dzmitryj Tschuprou with 12:75. A little later he reached the quarter-finals at the U17 World Cup , in which he was defeated by the Poland Wiktor Zieliński 2: 9. In December 2017 he lost the final of the Belarusian 8-ball championship against Tschuprou 4-6 and was eliminated in the 9-ball semifinals against Mikita Polujan .

In January 2014 Schopik became Belarusian runner-up in snooker under 18 juniors after a 3-1 defeat in the final against Jana Schut . After not winning in his first two appearances in 2013 and 2014, Schopik reached the quarter-finals of the Belarusian snooker championship in 2015 , where he lost 3-0 to the record winner Aljaksandr Kaszjukavets .
