Dzmitryj Aljaksandrawitsch Tschuprou ( Belarusian Дзмітрый Аляксандравіч Чупроў , Russian Дмитрий Чупров , Dmitri Tschuprov ; born July 29, 1985 in the Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian pool player and snooker .

In August 2008, Dmitry Chuprou reached the 49th place in the 9-ball competition of the European Championship . At the European Championships in 2011 he finished 49th in the 10-ball and 9-ball disciplines . In November 2011 he became Belarussian champion in 8-Ball and 9-Ball. At the EM 2012 he moved into the final round for the first time; In the competitions in 14/1 endless , 10-ball and 8-ball, he reached the round of 64 and was eliminated there. At the Belarusian championship in 2012 he managed to defend his 9-ball title with a 7-2 final win against Uladsislau Zyrykau . In 2013 and 2014 he was also the Belarusian champion in this discipline. In 2013 he also won the titles in 8-ball and 10-ball, in 2014 in 14/1 endlessly. In the 14/1 endless competition of the EM 2015 , Tschuprou reached the round of 32 and was defeated by the Dutchman Marco Teutscher with 67: 125. In the following 10-ball competition, he also made it into the round of 32, in which he was eliminated by Kasper Kristoffersen . In December 2015 he won the national championship titles in 14/1 endless and 10-ball. At the European Championship 2016 he reached the round of 64 in the disciplines 14/1 endless and 10-ball. In November 2016, he won the final tournament of the Baltic Pool League with a 10-2 final win against Vilius Schulte-Ebbert from Lithuania . A few days later he made it to the semi-finals of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow , which was a world ranking tournament for the first time this year, and was defeated by the eventual winner Alexander Kazakis .

After not taking part in the national championship the previous year, Tschuprou became the Belarusian champion in 14/1 endlessly in September 2017 with a 75:12 final victory over Uladsislau Schopik . At the Kremlin Cup 2017 , however, he was eliminated in the preliminary round. A little later he won, also in the final against Schopik, the championship title in 8-ball and was eliminated in the 9-ball and 10-ball disciplines in the quarter-finals.

Dzmitryj Tschuprou won his first medal at the Belarusian snooker championship in 2009 when he was eliminated in the semifinals against Mikita Strokin . A year later, he finished third again. In May 2012 he became Belarusian snooker champion for the first time with a 4-0 final win against Aljaksandr Zhdanowitsch . In 2014 he reached the semi-finals and was eliminated from Andrej Chudobin .
