Daryna Serhijiwna Siranchuk ( Ukrainian Дарина Сергіївна Сіранчук , English transcription: Darya Siranchuk ; *  December 14, 2000 ) is a Ukrainian pool player from Kiev . She became Ukrainian champion in the 9-ball and 10-ball disciplines in 2017 and European youth champion in 8-ball in 2018 .

After she had not won in her first three appearances in 2009 , 2010 and 2011 , Daryna Siranchuk moved into the finals for the first time in the 10-ball competition of the Ukrainian women's championship in 2012 and lost the quarter-finals to Maria Levchenko . In July 2013, after a final defeat against Kateryna Polovyntschuk, she became the Ukrainian runner-up in 8-ball . A little later she was eliminated from the European Youth Championship , for which she was nominated for the first time that year, in all three competitions (10-ball, 8-ball, 9-ball ) without a win in the preliminary round. At the 2013 Ukrainian championship she reached a quarter-finals again, this time in 8-ball. After she was eliminated three times in the preliminary round at the European Youth Championships in 2014 , she won her first medals at the Ukrainian women's championship in December 2014 : She reached the semifinals in 14/1 endless and 8-ball, in which she each of the later Ukrainian champion Kateryna Polovyntschuk had to admit defeat.

At the Ukrainian Junior Championship in 2015, she reached the final in all four disciplines and met Lyubov Schyhailowa there . After Sirantschuk had won their first national junior championship in 14/1 endlessly, Schyhailowa prevailed in the three subsequent finals. In the women's category , she secured two more medals in the same year when she reached the semi-finals in 8-ball and 10-ball and lost to Polovyntchuk. In May 2016 she moved into a final of the Baltic Pool League in Minsk for the first time , in which she had to admit defeat to Belarusian Marharyta Fjafilawa . A little later she became the Ukrainian junior champion in 9-ball and 10-ball. At the end of 2016, she made it to the finals for the first time in the national championship of women in 8-ball, but this was followed by a defeat against Polovyntschuk. She also won the bronze medal in the 10-ball.

In July 2017, Siranchuk became Ukrainian junior champion in all four disciplines by winning the final against Bohdana Solomka . A little later she won her first medals at the European Youth Championships , in which she had not participated in the previous two years: She made it into the final in 10-Ball, in which she had to admit defeat to Russian Kristina Tkatsch 5-0. and reached the semi-finals in 8-ball and 9-ball. It was the only medal for Ukraine at this European Youth Championship. In the same year she took part in the Junior World Championship for the first time and was eliminated in the preliminary round. In November 2017 she won the final tournament of the Ukrainian 9-Ball Cup by beating Daryna Krasnoschon 6-4 . At the 2017 Ukrainian championship , she made it to the finals in all four disciplines. After she lost endlessly (34:75) and 8-ball (5: 6) against Kateryna Polovyntschuk in 14/1, she prevailed 7: 6 in 9-ball against Polovyntschuk and was her 17th birthday for the first time Ukrainian champion. The next day she won the 10-ball title with a 6-1 final win over Polina Vynokurowa .

In early 2018 Siranchuk won the Kiev women's 8-ball championship in the final against Daryna Krasnoschon (5-2). In the men's competition, which was also open to women, she came third as the best woman after she had just lost to Vitaly Pazura in the semi-finals ( 5-6 ). At the Ukrainian Junior Championship in 2018, she defended her title in 8-ball and 10-ball. On the other hand, she was second in 9-ball and third in 14/1. In July 2018, the European championships of all age groups were held simultaneously in Veldhoven ( Netherlands ) . In the discipline 14/1 endless, in which no competition was played among the juniors, she competed with the women for the first time. She won her first four European Championship games, including against Oliwia Czupryńska and Kristina Zlateva , and only had to admit defeat to defending champion Kristina Tkatsch in the quarter-finals (38:75). In the three following competitions she played again with the juniors . After she was eliminated in the preliminary round in 10-ball, she became European youth champion for the first time in 8-ball with a 5-1 final win against Palina Tschernik . In the subsequent 9-ball competition, she was defeated in the quarterfinals by the eventual winner My Nguyen .

snooker

In 2012 Siranchuk retired in snooker when they first participated in the Ukrainian championship in the preliminary round. Two years later she moved into the finals in the women's competition, which is now held separately, and was defeated by Kateryna Polovyntschuk 2: 3. In 2015, she reached the semi-finals of the U21 juniors and the final of the women, which she lost 3-1 to Marija Butscharskaya .
