Pınar Budak (born November 19, 1982 in Wuppertal ) is a German Taekwondoin (graduation: 3rd Dan ).

Life

She trained at the boarding school in Swisttal . She began her sporting career in Wuppertal with the Wuppertal Tigers . Pınar Budak was a member of the German Federal Squad ( DTU ) and the NWTU -Landeskaders as well as multiple and reigning German Taekwondo champion.

Although Budak had won a starting place in the unfamiliar class up to 67 kg at the Olympic qualification tournament in Istanbul in January 2008, the German Taekwondo Union suggested Helena Fromm for the 2008 Olympic Games . After the German Olympic Sports Confederation accepted Helena Fromm's nomination, Pınar Budak resigned from top-class sport.
