Piotr Paziński
Piotr Paziński (born July 9, 1973 ) is a Polish writer.
Life
Piotr Paziński grew up in Warsaw and studied philosophy at the University of Warsaw . He worked for the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper and is editor of the monthly magazine Midrasz . in 2005 he received his doctorate from Michał Głowiński with a thesis on James Joyce's Ulysses at the Institute for Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences . Paziński published John Felstiner's biography about Paul Celan in Polish in 2010 .
In 2009 Paziński was nominated for the Polish Nike Literature Prize for his first novel The Pension and received the Paszport Polityki Prize . Paziński took part in the Berlin International Literature Festival in 2011 and received the European Union Literature Prize in 2012 .
