Piotr Tyszkiewicz (born September 4, 1970 in Ostróda , Poland ) is a former Polish football player and sports manager .

Club career

The striker played in Poland, Switzerland and Germany during his professional career . In 1990 he was a young striker in his first professional season Polish champion with Zagłębie Lubin . After a short stopover in Switzerland ( FC Baden ), Tyszkiewicz moved to Germany in 1995 for the then second division club VfL Wolfsburg . In the 1996/97 season he was promoted to the Bundesliga with the Wolves ; with nine goals in 30 games, he played a decisive role in the rise of VfL Wolfsburg. Things didn't go so well for him in the Bundesliga, he only scored one goal in twelve games. After the season he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig in the regional league . Here he played for two more seasons before he returned to Poland in 2000, including with his hometown club Stomil Olsztyn (now OKS 1945 Olsztyn ). In 2002 he ended his active career and now works as a sports manager.

Coaching career

After his active career, he was coach of OKS 1945 Olsztyn from 2002 to 2003 and in the 2003/2004 season at Kujawiak Włocławek .
