Pirané is the capital of the Pirané department of the same name in the Formosa Province in northern Argentina . It is located 110 kilometers from the provincial capital Formosa . In the classification of the municipalities of the province, it belongs to the municipalities ( Municipio ) of the 2nd category.
history
The foundation date of the place is November 21, 1912 . It was built on the Formosa - Embarcación railway line, where the Ferrocarril Decauville Oswald also ran.
