The Pirrie Col is a mountain pass in the shape of a mountain saddle on the West Antarctic Vega Island . It is located between Sandwich Bluff in the north and Léal Bluff in the south.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the pass in 1993 after the sedimentologist Duncan Pirrie (* 1964) from the British Antarctic Survey , who carried out several investigations here between 1985 and 1990.
