Pitbulls in the Nursery is a technical death metal band from Rambouillet , France , that was formed in 1997.
history
The band was formed in 1997 by Panda (vocals), Simon Thevenet (electric guitar), Mathieu (electric guitar), Steven (electric bass) and Jerry (drums).
In 2001 the band released the demo Impact . Stylistically, the band's sound is compared to bands like Dying Fetus , Atheist and Meshuggah . Initially, only 200 copies were planned for the demo, but due to popular demand, another 500 copies were made.
In 2003 and 2004 the band played over 35 concerts all over Europe and played with bands like Aborted , Gojira , Gronibard , Kaizen , No Return , Yyrkoon , Korum , Klone , Benighted , and Trepalium .
In 2006 they got together in the Des Milans Recording Studios and after three weeks of work they finished the first album Lunatic . The album was released on Black Lotus Records and produced by Jean-Pierre Bouquet .
