Pitt Pistol (. Fr. Jehan Pistolet ) is a French-Belgian Funny - comic book series about a young buccaneers . It is the first published comic series by the duo Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny .

content

18th century: Pitt Pistol, a young waiter from the Nantes harbor pavilion to the one-legged pirate , dreams of a great adventure. He gathers a hopelessly inexperienced crew and makes a shipwreck afloat again and calls it starfish . Since he succeeds in capturing a pirate, he is appointed the king's corsair . His travels take him to a lonely island, to Africa and America, where he is always faced with breakneck conflicts.

The series was published in black and white from 1952 to 1956 in La Libre Junior , the youth supplement of the newspaper La Libre Belgique . The first two stories were then reprinted in Pistolin and Pilote . 1960–1961 the two stories appeared in Fix and Foxi in German.

An album was released in France from 1989 and in German from 1990. In 2008 Ehapa Comic Collection published an anthology with all the stories in German.
