Piz Albris

The Piz Albris is a mountain peak southeast of Pontresina in the Engadine .

The summit reaches a height of 3166  m above sea level. M. The nicest presents itself to the Piz Albris from Bernina Pass from. There it flanks the eastern entrance to the Val da Fain ( Rhaeto-Romanic for Heutal). In relation to this entrance, it is the mountain that stands north.

Its northern neighbor is Piz Languard , which is popular with hikers and can be comfortably climbed on one path.

The Piz Albris is best known for its largest ibex population in Europe .
