Plehnen was a municipality in the district of Rastenburg , administrative district of Königsberg , in the Prussian province of East Prussia and existed from 1928 to 1945. Its area is now in the powiat Kętrzyński in the Polish Warmian-Masurian voivodeship .

The community Plehnen was formed on September 30, 1928, when the previously independent villages

merged to form the municipality of Plehnen.

Plehnen belonged to the district of Paaris (Polish Parys ) until May 22, 1929 , then to the district of Dönhofstädt (Polish Drogosze ). The community had a total of 434 inhabitants in 1933 and 471 in 1939.

The existence of the community of Plehnen ended in 1945 when the war ended. Your localities are now part of the network of the urban and rural community of Korsze ( German  Korschen ) in the powiat Kętrzyński in the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship ( Olsztyn Voivodeship until 1998 ) in Poland .
