Roman Pletter

Roman Pletter (* 1980 in Munich ) is a German journalist . He is deputy head of economics at the weekly newspaper Die Zeit .

Life

Roman Pletter studied economics in the social sciences at the University of Cologne and graduated from the Cologne School of Journalism for Politics and Economics. He then worked as an editor and reporter for the business magazine brand eins . He later worked as a freelance writer, including for the ZEIT dossier, and in the summer of 2009 as a guest editor and Arthur F. Burns Fellow at the Washington Post . From 2010 to mid-2011 he was head of the report department at Handelsblatt. In July 2013 he started at ZEIT.
