The Plummer Glacier is a short glacier in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Enterprise Hills of the Ellsworth Mountains, it flows north of Lippert Peak and Douglas Peaks in an easterly direction.
The United States Geological Survey mapped the glacier based on its own measurements and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the glaciologist Charles Carlton Plummer (* 1937) from Ohio State University who served on Palmer Station in 1965 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
