Pluto Sings the Blues is a 1947 American animated short film directed by Charles A. Nichols .
action
Pluto wakes up to the birds singing. He joins their singing and the birds cover their ears with horror. The humming of the bee , which Pluto then tries to imitate, causes the insect to hurry to close its flower, and the cricket is not very pleased with Pluto's imitation of the chirping. Sad Pluto goes to a music store with a jukebox playing in front of it . After starting to howl to the music, the shopkeeper carries the device away. Pluto sneaks into the shop, the owner of which is on lunch break. Next to the jukebox is a record player , which Pluto accidentally makes to run with his tail acting as a needle. An idea comes to him.
A little later you see Pluto coming out of his doghouse. He apparently joins in with a crooner's voice You Belong to my Heart and the animals are enthusiastic - in reality, a record player is playing in the background and Pluto moves his lips to the music. Numerous dog ladies faint when Pluto smiles at them, and even the brief hanging of the plate can be covered with a smile by Pluto in the end.
