Podaleirios
Podaleirios ( ancient Greek Ποδαλείριος Podaleírios ) is one of the healing sons of Asclepius and Epione in Greek mythology and literature .
Together with his brother Machaon , who is also experienced in medicine , following the call of the Atrids Agamemnon and Menelaus , he took part in the procession to Troy with 30 Thessalian ships and was one of the doctors of the Greeks there, but also a brave fighter.
Podaleirios, who recognized the madness of Aias from his burning eyes, accompanied Kalchas after Troy's destruction until his death and then settled with Syrnos in Caria .
