The Pointe de Corsen is a cape in the Commune Plouarzel , in the Finistère department , Brittany region , France . It is the westernmost point of continental France.

Nearby is the Trézien lighthouse , which marks the border between the Atlantic and the English Channel .

This is also where the CROSS (Center régional opérationnel de surveillance et de sauvetage) Corsen is located, whose main task is to monitor maritime traffic off Ouessant and to coordinate sea ​​rescue between Mont Saint-Michel and Penmarch .
