Pol Braekman

Pol Braekman (actually Hippolyte Braekman; born November 22, 1919 in Anderlecht ; † November 15, 1994 ) was a Belgian hurdler and sprinter .

In 1946 he won silver over 110 m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo . In the 4 x 100 meter relay he was sixth with the Belgian team, and over 100 m he was eliminated in the semifinals.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, he reached the semi-finals over 110 m hurdles . Over 100 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay , he failed in the lead.

In 1950 he did not get past the first round at the European Championships in Brussels over 110 m hurdles.
