history
The band is currently under contract with Arising Empire . You were previously under contract with the Prosthetic Records label .
style
Polar plays typical Hardcore with some Metalcore elements, since Shadowed By Vultures more melodic elements (" Black Days ") can be found, which can be assigned to Melodic Hardcore . Woodford's raw screams, which shaped the publications up to 2014 in a special way, are particularly striking. With the 2019 album Nova , the band's style was described as now softer, but also more serious and complex.

In February and March 2014, Polar toured with Hundredth and Counterparts through Germany , Austria , Belgium , Poland , France and Italy .
In November 2018 Polar was on the Impericon Never Say Die! With Being As An Ocean, Northlane, Alazka, Casey, Currents and Thousand Below! Tour in Europe.
In May 2019 Polar went on an album release tour in Germany after the release of their fourth studio album Nova . They received support a. by the band Tripsitter, who presented their debut album The Other Side Of Sadness , which will also be released in April .
