Arising Empire is a record company founded in 2015 by Markus Staiger and the former manager of People Like You Records , Tobbe Falarz, which specializes in punk , metalcore and rock . In addition to the company SharpTone Records, which was founded shortly afterwards, it is a sub-label of the metal label Nuclear Blast . The distribution for the musical publications is taken over by Kontor New Media. Among the first bands to be signed to Arising Empire were Imminence and GWLT .
The label's first release was the album Souvenirs by the French band Novelists , released on November 11, 2015 .
Kontor New Media, a subsidiary of Edel Music AG, took over the label on June 22, 2020.
