Any Given Day is a 2012 founded Metalcore - / Djent - band from Gelsenkirchen .
history
The band was founded in spring 2012 by singer Dennis Diehl, guitarists Andy Posdziech and Dennis ter Schmitten, bassist Michael Golinski and drummer Raphael Altmann in Gelsenkirchen . Golinski and ter Schmitten also act as background singers in the band .
In October of the founding year, a self-titled demo with three songs was released, which were later re-recorded for the debut album My Longest Way Home , released in September 2014 via Redfield Records . With the cover song to Rihanna's Diamonds , the band received enormous attention and can now look back on 10.1 million clicks on YouTube. My Longest Way Home entered the German album charts at number 28. In January 2015, the group toured with Dream On, Dreamer as the opening act for Caliban through Germany , Austria , Belgium , Switzerland , the Netherlands and Poland .
At the end of May 2015 the band performed at the double festival Rock im Revier ( Veltins-Arena ) and Rockavaria ( Munich Olympiapark ).
In summer 2016 the second album Everlasting was released , which entered the German album charts at number 14. In 2017 they toured the UK for the first time as opening act for Bury Tomorrow .
style
Any Given Day play metalcore, which is mixed with elements of progressive metal, primarily the djent . At times, slight influences from Slipknot and Killswitch Engage can also be heard.
