Bury Tomorrow is a five-piece English metalcore - band from Southampton . It currently consists of singer and guitarist Jason Cameron , singer Daniel Winter-Bates , lead guitarist Kristan Dawson , bassist Davyd Winter-Bates and drummer Adam Jackson . The five are currently under contract with the music label Sony Music .

history

Beginnings and early years

The band was founded in 2006 by drummer Adam Jackson. Shortly after the other four musicians joined, they released their first EP, The Sleep of the Innocents , self-distributed in 2007 .

Portraits and On Waxed Wings (2009-2011)

On October 9, 2009, Bury Tomorrow released their first album, Portraits , on Basick Records . In America and Japan, the album was only released in March 2010 on the Artery Recordings label . There were two single releases from this album: You and I and Her Bones in the Sand . After the release, the band toured the USA, Japan and Europe several times. In 2010, the five-piece band released their second EP, On Waxed Wings , on September 6th .

The first single from their second album was Lionheart and was released on September 8, 2011. They then played as the opening act for While She Sleeps on their tour. Shortly before their headlining tour of England, they released their second single, Royal Blood from their upcoming album, on December 6th . In early 2012 the five retired to the studio to record their second album. During that time they only gave a few concerts to support their album.

Shortly before the album was completed, the band announced that they had signed with Nuclear Blast and revealed the release date and name of their second album: The Union of Crowns . The album was finally released on July 13 in Europe, July 16 in England and July 17 in America, and the band went on tour to support their new album.

At the end of 2012 the band went on a European tour again. Bury Tomorrow was supported by bands such as Architects , Deez Nuts , The Acacia Strain , Bleed from Within and Crossfaith . A Scandinavian tour has been confirmed for May 2013. From May 2nd to May 11th the group could be seen in Denmark , Sweden and Norway .

On January 20, 2013, the band announced that their lead guitarist Mehdi Vismara had left the band and was replaced by Kristan Dawson.

On February 24, 2014, Bury Tomorrow released a music video for Man on Fire , the first single from their new album Runes , which was released in Germany on May 30, 2014. A music video was also released on May 13th for the second single Of Glory , which was offered for free download.

On March 9, 2015, the band announced on the social network Facebook that they had started production of the fourth album. On November 1, 2015, they released a music video Earthbound , the single from their album Earthbound . In addition, on December 6, 2015, the new music video for Memories came out . The album was released on January 29, 2016.
