Singer Chadwick Johnson announced in a video about this appeal for donations that this action had no political or religious background.

style

Hundredth played a melodic variant of hardcore punk at the beginning , which at times also drifted into metalcore . Comparable artists included groups such as Comeback Kid and Modern Life Is War . The group's lyrics have a Christian touch and largely spread a positive message. However, Shai Hulud and Strongarm , although the latter only applies to a limited extent, are recognized as musical influences.

With the release of the fourth studio album Rare , the musicians changed their musical direction away from melodic hardcore towards a mixture of indie rock and shoegazing .
