Every Time I Die is an American southern metal / metalcore band from Buffalo , New York .
Band history
The band was formed by brothers Keith and Jordan Buckley in Buffalo , New York . They took guitarist Andrew Williams, bassist John McCarthy and drummer Michael "Ratboy" Novak into the band.
On their first small tour of Buffalo and Toronto , the band met Goodfellow Records producer Chris Logan, who released the first EP Burial Plot Bidding War in 2000. A year later, Last Night in Town , the band's first studio album, was released. Until the album The Big Dirty 2007, Every Time I Die released all albums on Ferret Records . Before recording New Junk Aestetic (2009), they switched to Epitaph Records .
On March 6, 2012, Joe Barresi ( Tool , The Melvins , Queens of the Stone Age ) produced Ex Lives, the band's sixth studio album. Pre-orders were sent two weeks in advance. The following album From Parts Unknown was produced by Kurt Ballou and released on July 8, 2014. In 2016, Low Teens followed , which was also listed for the first time in the album charts in Germany and the United Kingdom .
All of the band's albums from 2005 onwards were able to reach the US Billboard 200 , the last three albums from 2012 each achieved top 25 placements.
Side projects
Keith Buckley was also a singer in the supergroup The Damned Things .
