Hell on Earth Tour
The Hell on Earth Tour is a European concert tour for bands from the hardcore punk scene and their subgenres. It took place annually from 2006 to 2012 and in late summer / autumn in 2017 and is comparable to the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour , which was held for the first time in 2007. Since the tour dates of the Hell on Earth Tour are planned across Europe, the venues can accommodate different numbers of spectators.
In the premiere year 2006, Cataract , Maroon , Heaven Shall Burn , God Forbid , Purified in Blood and A Perfect Murder toured the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Denmark. The first edition of the tour took place from September 15 to October 7, 2006 and comprised 23 concerts.
The second tour edition followed from September 13th to October 9th, 2007. For the first time concerts took place in Russia, Poland and the Czech Republic. This time Walls of Jericho , Fear My Thoughts , All Shall Perish and Born from Pain played at 25 concerts.
The third Hell on Earth Tour took place from September 23 to October 19, 2008. Walls of Jericho played again as headliners of the concert tour. The group was accompanied by Cataract, Evergreen Terrace , Animosity and The Red Chord . For the first time there was a concert in France. This performance took place in Mulhouse as part of the Noumacore Festival .
In 2009 the Hell on Earth Tour took place from August 28th to September 27th. For the first time there was a concert in Slovakia . On this tour Earth Crisis , War from a Harlots Mouth , Neaera , Waking the Cadaver , Sworn Enemy , War of Ages and Thy Will Be Done played . Originally Unearth were planned for the tour, but according to their label Positive Records only played in Cologne and Münster .
The fifth edition of the Hell on Earth concert tour saw a concert in Sweden for the first time . From September 17 to October 17, 2010 Terror , The Acacia Strain , All Shall Perish, Every Time I Die , Down to Nothing , Thick as Blood and Vera Cruz played 29 concerts. Vera Cruz didn't play in the UK, however.
The sixth edition of Hell on Earth took place from August 26th to September 20th, 2011. This time Unearth headlined the tour. Other bands were Bane , Evergreen Terrace, Nasty and Casey Jones . The group Full Blown Chaos canceled a last minute gig so local bands could win the opener slot.
The seventh Hell On Earth in 2012 featured Walls of Jericho, Death Before Dishonor , Betrayal and Hundredth as the main acts.
In 2017 a “Hell on Earth” tour led through Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. With Cattle Decapitation , Broken Hope , Hideous Divinity and Gloryhole Guillotine, however, no hardcore, but grindcore and death metal bands played.
