All Shall Perish ( English "everything should perish") is an American metal band founded in 2002 from Oakland , California .
Band history
All Shall Perish was founded in 2002 with the intention not to be pigeonholed in the usual musical box. The debut album Hate. Malice. Revenge. was released in 2003 under the Japanese label Amputated Vein Records , but the band remained largely undiscovered. After minor success, the band only made itself felt in the national underground of the scene. A year later, Nuclear Blast became aware of the five-piece band and released Hate in 2005 . Malice. Revenge. New. After the publication, despite its unusual style, there was no great international success.
In August 2006 the second album The Price of Existence was released, from which the first debut single Eradication including video appeared shortly afterwards and was played for the first time at Headbangers Ball on MTV2 . In autumn 2006 the band went on their Spreading Disease tour. During this time they wrote their own blog, which you could follow on their homepage and MySpace page.
The new album Awaken the Dreamers was released on September 5, 2008 via Nuclear Blast. 5000 copies were sold in the first week and for the first time reached a chart placement at # 126 on the US Billboard 200 . They then toured the USA and Mexico and played concerts in Germany and the rest of Europe during the Hell on Earth Tour in the fall of the same year with bands such as Cataract , Walls of Jericho , Stick to Your Guns and The Red Chord .
In February 2009, All Shall Perish announced that they were separating from guitarist Chris Storey and Jason Richardson would replace him, who in turn was replaced by Francesco Artusato. In 2010 they toured again on the Hell on Earth Tour and then with Terror through Europe. All Shall Perish announced on October 4th, 2013 that singer Hernan "Eddie" Hermida had joined Suicide Silence as the successor to Mitch Lucker and had to leave the band as a result.
On October 21, 2015 All Shall Perish announced on Facebook that the band are back with a completely new line-up. Fan favorite Chris Storey on lead guitar, Hernan ¨Eddie¨ Hermida back as vocalist alongside Suicide Silence and is even reinforced by Craig Betit, who took this position on the debut album. Caysen Russo, then lead guitarist, now takes on the role of bassist. All Shall Perish founding members Ben Orum and Matt KuyKendall can also be found on the rhythm guitars and drums.
style
All Shall Perish combine various styles of music such as death metal , thrash metal , deathgrind and metalcore . Their style is difficult to compare, if at all, to bands like Job for a Cowboy , Dying Fetus , Cannibal Corpse , Hatebreed , Blood Has Been Shed , At the Gates and Suffocation , some of which they feel inspired by.
