The term police employee is a generic term for certain service personnel working in the police force . The employees in the public service (collective bargaining employees ) of the police authorities take over z. Partly just as sovereign tasks as police officers. Police employees have i. d. R. are a shortened training and in a collective employment of the public service , and not in a civil service .

The job title is regulated differently from country to country . For example, since November 1, 2010 , police employees of the Berlin Police Department have had the status of collective bargaining employees in addition to their status .
