Polyarthra vulgaris is a species of the genus Polyarthra from the tribe of the rotifers ( Rotatoria ).
description
The animals are 100 to 145 µm in size, their trunk fins 18 to 28 µm wide. Like all species of the genus Polyarthra , the animals have no feet and there are two narrow spines on their belly.

The species is most common in summer and lives planktonically in larger waters .
