Polyarthra is a genus from the tribe of the rotifers ( Rotatoria ).
description
The animals are 80 to 180 µm in size , depending on the species . They are like the Asplanchnen footless. They live planktonically , and on their bodies there are four bundles of three trunk fins each. The animals have a dark red brain eye .
