The 38th Polynormande 2017 was a French road bike race that started in Avranches and finished 168.9 km in Saint-Martin-de-Landelles . It took place on Sunday , July 30th, 2017 . It was also part of the UCI Europe Tour 2017 and classified there in category 1.1 .

After 80 kilometers a group of 21 people pulled away and had a lead of a maximum of three minutes. The group of the day included Alexis Gougeard (France / AG2R), Dimitri Claeys (Belgium / Cofidis) and Johan Le Bon and they were no longer overtaken by the field. After a few unsuccessful attacks from the group, the runaway sprinted. The winner of the race in the small group's uphill sprint was Gougeard, a few seconds ahead of Le Bon.
