Johan Le Bon (born October 3, 1990 in Lannion ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

Le Bon became World Junior Champion and European Junior Champion in road racing in 2009 . At the European Championship he also won the bronze medal in the individual time trial .

In the U23, Le Bon drove for the Continental Team and later Professional Continental Team Bretagne-Schuller from 2009 to 2012 . During this time he was twice French U23 champion in the individual time trial and won his first international elite race with the overall ranking of the Kreiz Breizh Elites . In addition, as part of the national team in 2009, he won the overall ranking of the UCI Nations' Cup U23 race Coupe des Nations Saguenay .

For the 2013 season, Le Bon moved to the UCI WorldTeam FDJ , with which he stayed until the end of the 2017 season. In 2015 he won a stage each of the Boucles de la Mayenne and the UCI WorldTour race Eneco Tour and in 2017 a stage and the prologue of the Boucles de la Mayenne as well as the prologue at the Tour de l'Ain .

Johan Le Bon is the son of Dominique Le Bon , who won the Tro-Bro Léon in 1987 and the Tour du Finistère in 1991 and 1993 .
