Popowka ( Russian Поповка ; German, unofficially Jost ) is a place in the German national circle of Azovo in the Russian Oblast of Omsk .
The village is a good 15 kilometers southwest of Omsk near the southern bypass of the megacity . The village has 234 inhabitants and administratively belongs to the rural community Sosnowskoje selskoje posselenije , whose main town Sosnovka is six kilometers south.
In the Druzhba (friendship) holiday camp near Popowka there has been an annual festival with Russian-German songs and dances since 1999 .
