The Poppenbüttler Graben is a small moor in Hamburg that is one of the city's natural monuments . It runs parallel to the Kupferteichweg in Poppenbüttel . The moor is not accessible by paths. It flows into the Mellingbek .

Native plants

The plants native to the small bog include rushes , the lung gentian , the bog lily , cranberries , the round-leaved sundew , sedges and the forest lice herb . Three of the plants found in Poppenbüttler Graben have been declared flower of the year in the past : the lung gentian (1980), the round-leaved sundew (1992) and the bog lily (2011).
