Pornpan Hoemhuk (born June 3, 1993 ) is a Thai sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter distance and was particularly successful with the Thai 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

In 2010, Pornpan Hoemhuk took part with the relay at the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi and won the gold medal there. In 2011 and 2013 she also won the gold medal with the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang and Naypyidaw . In 2014 she won the silver medal at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou and finished fourth at the Asian Games in Incheon . In 2015 she won the silver medal with the relay at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore and took part in the Universiade in Gwangju for the first time as a student at Bangkok Thonburi University . There she reached the semifinals in the individual competition and took seventh place with the Thai relay. In 2017 she was eliminated from the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, India, over 400 meters in the lead and finished fifth in the relay. At the World Student Games in Taipei , she reached seventh place with the season. At the beginning of September she won the gold medal with the relay at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games 2017 in Ashgabat .
