Porosowo ( Russian Порозово ) is a village in Ivanovo Oblast ( Russia ).

geography

The village is located about 110 km northeast of the Oblast capital Ivanovo and about 3 km northwest of the city of Savolschsk on the left bank of the Volga , opposite the city of Kineshma . Above the village, a 1640-meter-long bridge, opened in 2003 after 19 years of construction, crosses the Volga along the R101 regional road.

Since 2009 Porosowo belongs together with 23 other localities to the rural municipality Meschduretschenskoje selskoje posselenije with a total of 2184 inhabitants (October 14, 2010).
