The portal Tomb von Athenree ( Irish Achadh an Rí ; German  "King's Field" ) is east of Omagh and Carrickmore, on the property of Termon House in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland . As portal Tombs be megalithic on the British Isles referred to in which two equally high upright stones therebetween with a door stone which form the front of a chamber which is covered with a massive part endstone.

The portal tomb fell in the past when one of the two rear bearing stones broke, causing one of the two portal stones to be displaced and the large cap stone slipped a little. This capstone is one of the largest in area on a portal tomb in Northern Ireland.

Portal tombs date from the Irish Neolithic (3000 to 2000 BC) and occur in the eastern half of Ireland as well as in Cornwall and Wales . Their chambers are relatively small, as many systems are built from very massive blocks.
