Portonovo is an Italian coastal village, located on the Adriatic Sea and on Monte Conero . Administratively belongs Portonovo than Contrada the fraction Pioggio to Ancona .

In the official statistics, Portonovo has only one inhabitant; in fact, the population is much larger due to vacationers in vacation rentals, hotels and campsites.
