The Poseidon is an Austrian motor ship that has been used by Traunsee-Schifffahrt K. Eder since 2005 .

history

The Poseidon was built in 2005 in the Lux shipyard in Germany and then brought to the Traunsee , where it has since been used in regular service and for tours. It is also possible to rent the Poseidon for events and celebrations.

The ship is powered by two diesel engines from Volvo Deutz, each with 182  kW power , the two propeller driven act. Two generators powered by Deutz diesel generators, each with an output of 63 kW, are available for power generation. The ship is equipped with a bow thruster .

The ship has a saloon each on the main and upper deck. On the upper deck behind the saloon there is a partially covered sun deck. The wheelhouse is arranged here in the front area of ​​the ship.
