Poznanski

The Poznanski are a family of manufacturers and merchants from Posen (Poznań) and Łódź (Lodsch). Worth seeing in Łódź is the Poznanski Palace (museum) and the family's old textile factory which was converted into the Manufaktura shopping center between 2003 and 2006 .

The German members of the family were mainly active in Berlin , Munich , Frankfurt am Main , Dortmund and Essen . Other members of the family live in Chile , where they fled from the National Socialists .

  • Ursula Poznanski (* 1968), Austrian author and journalist
  • Edward IJ Poznanski (1901–1974), mathematician and philosopher at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem
  • Marek Poznański (* 1984), member of the Sejm
