Presidential elections in Ivory Coast 2015

The presidential elections in Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) took place on October 25, 2015. Incumbent Alassane Ouattara ( RHDP ) won in the first ballot with 83.66 percent of the valid votes. Pascal Affi N'Guessan , candidate of the largest opposition party Front Populaire Ivoirien (FPI, German Ivorian Popular Front ), was able to unite only 9.29 percent of the votes. The turnout fell to 52.87 percent. The term of office is 5 years.

Results

Out of 6,300,142 registered voters, 3,330,928 cast their votes, which corresponds to a turnout of 52.87 percent. 201,186 (6 percent) of the votes were invalid. The results of the individual candidates can be seen in the following table:
