Prémio LeYa
The Prémio LeYa (complete: Prémio LeYa de Romance , German LeYa-Roman-Preis) is a literary prize of the Portuguese- speaking area.
The price
It has been awarded annually by the LeYa publishing group for an unpublished novel since it was founded in 2008. The award is endowed with 100,000 euros. It is given in a library in Lisbon , in the Palácio Galveias , a 17th century city palace on Campo Pequeno .
The most prestigious book award in the lusophone- speaking area is the equally highly endowed Prémio Camões , but this honors the entire work of an artist, not an individual work.
