Prado ( Asturian Prau ) is a parroquia with 199 inhabitants in the municipality ( consejo ) Cabrales in the Spanish province of Asturias .

Prado is just a few kilometers north of the Picos de Europa National Park . Carreña , the main town in the municipality, is about six kilometers to the east.
economy
Until the middle of the 20th century, the inhabitants lived mainly as a self-sufficient source of income from their fields and gardens and from raising cattle. Today tourism plays a not insignificant role in economic life. The most important and nationally known product is Cabrales , a blue mold mixed cheese made from cow , sheep and goat milk .
