Prague is a German pop-rock - band from Berlin .

history

The band Prague was founded in 2012 by Erik Lautenschläger and the solo artist and arranger Tom Krimi ( Stereo de Luxe ). Shortly afterwards, Nora Tschirner, who Lautenschläger had known from school, joined them. For their debut album Premiere , the band was accompanied by a film orchestra from Prague , as the band's digitally recorded string orchestra sounds were insufficient and they preferred to work with a real orchestra. The choice fell on the orchestra from Prague, as all three band members were enthusiastic about the city, which is also the reason for the name of the band. The album was released on January 25, 2013 on her own record label Týnská Records. The second album Kein Abschied was released in 2015. This time the orchestra recordings took place in Poland with the “Orchester Sinfonietta Cracovia”. In 2015 Nora Tschirner separated from the band.

On August 18, 2017, the band released their third album Eswas nicht so meant with Josephin Busch as singer, who also accompanied the band on the following tour. Busch is also involved in the 2020 album To third .
