Josephin Busch (born October 20, 1986 in East Berlin ) is a German actress and singer . Since its world premiere on January 13, 2011, she has played the leading female role Jessy ("Girls from East Berlin") in the first cast in the musical Hinterm Horizont about Udo Lindenberg . In October 2011 she and her musical partner Serkan Kaya were nominated for the Golden Hen Audience Award. In 2015 the ensemble was awarded the BZ Culture Prize.

Josephin Busch can also be seen in many film and television productions. Since 2015 she plays in the ZDF series last track Berlin , the Commissioner Lucy Elbe .

Busch has been the singer of the Berlin band Prag since 2017 . In May 2017 she released her first solo EP Jetzt , which contains four of her own songs.

During her school days Josephin Busch played theater in the “youth theater workshop” of Theater Strahl in Berlin-Schöneberg and was, among other things, lead singer with the band Roof Garden and guest singer with Thanateros . She received singing, dance and acting lessons at the “Ballet Center Berlin”. After graduating from high school in 2006, she began studying musicals at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2007 and acting at the “Der Kreis” drama school in 2008 , which she completed in 2011. Since 2009 she was seen in the music theater play The Dream Magic Tree on large stages.

Since the premiere of Hinterm Horizont, Josephin Busch has played the main female role of Jessy in the first cast and is also active in numerous other theater, film and television productions.

Since 2013 she can be seen regularly at the Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen in various productions; Among other things, she played here the Cècile in the world premiere of "Bonjour Tristesse".

Her first television role was one of the leading roles in the television film Der Turm , which was awarded the Grimme Prize and the Audience Bambi . She was also seen as the daughter of a commissioner, Maria Drexler, at Magdeburg Police Call 110 . Other leading roles in film and television followed.

She became known to a wide audience from 2015; since then she has been shooting for the ZDF crime series last trace Berlin . She embodies the young inspector Lucy Elbe .

Busch is married to the actor David Nádvornik . She gave birth to a daughter in the summer of 2019.
